ANUEN will function as an integrating platform of all socio-economic actors directly or indirectly active in the field of nuclear energy, its production, its distribution, its marketing, its use in various social and economic fields as well as its nuclear applications.

Firstly, the human resource needs of socio-economic actors will be collected and analysed, both in terms of specific and professional needs and from the point of view of the diversity and composition of these needs.

Secondly, ANUEN will formalize the needs expressed by the socio-economic actors in terms of knowledge, skills, abilities and attitudes, responsibility and autonomy, in accordance with the standards of the EQF (European Qualification Framework). All the existing results in the databases of ANUEN partners and external collaborators, concerning human resources currently active or likely to be employed in the field of nuclear energy, will be used.

These expected results will be grouped into a common educational area and into specific educational areas, defining the subjects to be studied as well as the training plans to be implemented.

ANUEN will develop with its partners a supporting structure and application mechanisms for its students so that they are prepared for the challenges of the field of nuclear energy.

Study programs across the entire EQF range will be offered throughout Romania.

Modern mechanisms (dual education, tertiary colleges) will be considered as well as potential exits from the system with validation / certification of learning outcomes, at various EQF levels.
